Control: Resonant carries the Remedy Connected Universe forward, and one of its clearest Alan Wake tributes is reachable early in Dylan's journey. Alan never appears on screen. Instead, there is a hidden apartment corroded by the Dark Place where you can hear his voice — and where interacting with a television files a special video into Dylan's archive.
Finding the Easter Egg
- Travel to the Evacuation Zone and head toward the Railway Street station.
- From the station, follow the road south until you reach the building tied to one of the Aberrant Camera sites.
- The camera itself sits on the roof — which is exactly why the climb matters. Clear the Metro Fault task first if you can; it unlocks a traversal ability that makes reaching Manhattan's high places far easier.
- Once you are on the roof, approach the Aberrant Camera. Its supernatural effect freezes Dylan in place for a moment.
- When control returns, do not leave — go inside the same building.
The Dark Place Apartment
Descend the building's stairwell. A few flights down, watch for an apartment whose door stands half open — strange black material around the entrance sets it apart from every ordinary unit on the floor. Step inside and follow the hum of the television. The room shows obvious signs of supernatural activity, but the TV is the object you need.
Unlocking the Alan Wake Video
Interact with the TV screen and the hidden video is added to Dylan's archive. You are not just collecting a file, either — the television plays a monologue from Alan Wake himself, which puts this well above the average background-visual easter egg.
